Bespoke
I am always happy to make bespoke jewellery for anyone who’d like it. You can choose:
- length - not everyone’s neck is the same, so always double check what length is comfortable for you, particulary for the choker length pieces.
- colour - I buy my glass pearls from Bead Solutions, so you can choose any colour beads they supply. I use Swarovski crystals, and they also have quite a range of colours. I can use Swarovski pearls if you want, but that will add to the cost.
- size - I can vary bead size, within limits. Beads are available from 3mm to 16mm diameter, and some designs will work just as well with the larger beads as with the smaller beads. Some, on the other hand, will not.
- fixings - I can supply sterling silver or gold fixings, i.e. the clasp, rings, and other metalwork, but it will add significantly to the cost.
- real pearls - if you really want to go up-market, and have the budget, then I can replicate any design with real freshwater pearls.
I can also make bracelets and simple pendant earings to match any necklace.
If you would like a bespoke piece, please email me with your needs and I’ll give you an estimate of price and how long it is going to take me to make.
I don’t keep gold and silver fixings, freshwater pearls, or unusual coloured glass pearls in stock, so there will be a lead time whilst I source them and get you a price, and once you’ve accepted that price there’ll be a bit of a wait whilst I make the jewellery itself. I will try to be as prompt as I can, but if you want to make sure you have something in time for a birthday or Christmas, please make sure you give me at least a month’s notice.
